In Episode 6, we deep dive into Canada’s procurement for and in the Arctic, guided by the insights from Siobhan Harty, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister, Defence and Marine Procurement Branch and National Coordinator, Icebreaker Collaboration Effort (ICE Pact), Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Government of Canada. We discuss topics such as the normal procurement process, Arctic procurement, reconciling due diligence and the need for speedto procure, the infrastructure and sustainment of it as well as innovations for the section and the greater integration of technology in this space. Additionally, we also talk about the indigenous and northern economic participation as well as strategic alignment with our Allies.
