Meagan Boucher-Martin serves as a Policy Analyst Intern for the Policy Insights Forum (PIF), part of the Samuel Group of Companies.
Meagan has completed a Certificate in Supply Chain Management at Mount Royal University and currently pursuing a joint program between Algonquin College and University of Ottawa for a Bachelor’s in Public Relations. Her dedication to academic success has led her to achieving Algonquin College’s Dean’s Honours List for two consecutive terms. As part of her educational program requirements to advance her degree, she has joined the PIF in an intern work capacity. Additionally, as part of the Samuel Group’s company-wide Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan and Policy, Meagan is the first recipient of the Internship in Strategic Consultancy for Indigenous Peoples (ISCIP) Award.
Prior to joining the Team, Meagan has experience in customer service where she held a position at The Teacup Attic for many years as the Office Administrator and Assistant General Manager. While working at The Teacup Attic, Meagan developed organizational skills, business strategies and assisted with complex shipping systems.
A highlight of her leadership was demonstrated during her time as the Executive Team Lead Logistics for the Nourish the Community Campaign. Meagan ensured every team was prepared for their events. In addition, she managed her team’s budget to guarantee seamless execution and maximum impact of their efforts.
