The Policy Insights Forum (PIF) Associateships is a prestigious recognition for Canadian academics holding a Master’s Degree or PhD because it provides them the opportunity to directly influence policy-making at the highest levels. This distinction acknowledges their significant academic achievements and their potential to provide insightful, research-driven recommendations on crucial policy issues. As PIF Research Associates, these academics have an extraordinary platform to shape Canadian public policy, further strengthening their reputation and influence in their respective fields.

The PIF is proud to offer two distinct Research Associateships categories tailored to Canadian and International academics possessing a Master’s Degree or PhD:

Research Associateships

This category is designated for Canadian academics who are currently working and residing in Canada, the United States, or any international location. Our aim is to foster a vibrant community of scholars from diverse geographies and academic backgrounds.

National Security Associateships

Exclusively reserved for Government of Canada employees, members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

The PIF’s National Security Associateship is meticulously curated and administered for Canada’s elite public service executives, military personnel, and federal law enforcement officers.
