About the Fellowship Position:

The Policy Insights Forum, a Canadian-based think tank, seeks a highly motivated and skilled individual for a Digital Management and Publications Fellowship. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the intersection of technology, public policy, industry, and communication and is keen to work in a dynamic international and interdisciplinary environment.

 

This Position is open to nationals from Canada, the US and NATO member countries and is subject to verification.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Content Management: Oversee and manage digital content across various platforms, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency. This includes website management, social media content, and digital newsletters.
  2. Publication Development: Collaborate with team members and external partners to develop and publish reports, policy briefs, and academic papers. This includes research, writing, editing, and coordinating with publishers and designers.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, including policy experts, government officials, academic institutions, and he private sector, to gather insights and foster collaborations.
  4. Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and managing events such as meetings, roundtables and conferences, including digital events, to facilitate discussions on policy insights.
  5. Policy Research and Data Analysis: Conduct independent policy research and analyze data on relevant policy topics. Prepare summaries, presentations, and reports to support decision-making and publications.
  6. Innovative Projects: Initiate and contribute to innovative projects that leverage digital technologies to enhance policy research, dissemination, and engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Public Policy, International Relations, Strategic Communication, Digital Politics, Political Marketing or similar.
  • Perfect fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in French is an asset.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of published work.
  • Experience in digital content management, social media strategy and communications.
  • Ability to conduct policy research and analyze data effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in coordinating events and managing projects.
  • Knowledge of the current digital landscape, including trends in digital publishing and content dissemination.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
